On the mend
Best wishes for a swift recovery to former Rangers player Brian McCarthy who suffered a broken leg playing for Waterford Crystal premier against Carrick last Sunday week.
RANGERS TOPS IN TRAMORE DERBY!
Keeper Killian the hero with two penalty saves
Tramore Rangers beat their local rivals Tramore AFC 4-2 in a cracking Division 1A derby at The Orchard on Friday Aug 20. Eoin Purcell and James Legg scored a brace apiece but Rangers' undoubted hero was 16-year-old keeper Killian Burns (above) who pulled off two brilliant penalty saves, both in the second half, for Joe Williams' and Chris Jones' side.

Chairman rolls back the years!
Rangers' chairman Davy "Ravanelli" Purcell rolled back the years during our recent trip to Cardiff where a motley XI played Splott Albion. While the "fresher" locals won 4-3 (though we scored four goals!?) Davy saved the best 'til last with a trademark 'Purt' finish almost on the blow of full-time. Thanks (and best wishes) to Tramore bus driver Peter Smith and Paul Rellis for organising the weekend which was greatly enjoyed by all.
THANK YOU
Thanks to all those who so generously supported our recent annual collection (Aug 14-15), including the clergy of the Holy Cross Church, management of Centra Tankfield, Spar Newtown Stores, and Quish's SuperValu. Also to the collectors from the club for their time.
